LET US HELP WITH A HEDGE... SCREEN OR ADD SOME PRIVACY TO YOUR GARDEN. A LOT CHEAPER THAN A FENCE OR WALL - NO APPROVAL NEEDED

A very beautiful and cheap alternative plus great for the environment. A living fence is possible with bamboo or Tiger Grass. Shown here is Bambusa Oldhammi top... planted in Byron Bay March 2008.. 300 mm size pots were used, then at a height of 1.5 metres spaced 2 metres apart over 40m length.  In 15 months a complete blockout has been achieved...the client is delighted.

Japanese or Oriental hedging Bamboo grows between 3-7 metres, quickly hides an ugly wall, provides privacy from a neighbour, plus adds bamboo magic to your garden without being invasive. Top picks for a continuous tall screen that can be planted in suburbia see Slender Weavers Bamboo (Textilis Gracilis) - currently available in 300 mm - 400 mm pots / 2-4 metres.

Oldhammi highly recommended for a larger area screen. Gracilis for Suburbian areas, Murray Island, or Tiger Grass.  Hedge with Malay Dwarf Vari, Chinese Dwarf, Golden Goddess or Alphonse Karr.
